The County Council is the democratically elected strategic authority for Kent. It promotes and improves the social, economic and environmental well-being of the area and has statutory responsibility for the provision of a range of services.
Our Approach
Following an extensive needs analysis, two two-day modules were designed and delivered to a large number of leaders and managers. The first covered communication and leadership, incorporating the Emergenetics profiling tool. The second covered commercial thinking, including the Business Canvas tool.
The success of the programme resulted in its continuation for several years longer, with the focus shifting to the development of team performance and leadership skills.
Impact and ROI
The programme supported a new culture of more effective communication and increased capability for innovative commercial approaches to service delivery. A number of teams have now also specifically improved their performance.
